All air connections pass through honeycomb wave-guides of galvanised brass. They are soldered in angular copper frames for uninterrupted shielding and attached to the IMEDCO wall or ceiling panels. Wooden gaskets are provided to dielectrically insulate the filters from the customers external air ducts. After passing the honeycomb RF filters, the air is distributed either through diffusers in the suspended ceiling or aluminium grills with adjustable louvers. All air ducts are connected to the outside of the RF enclosure and therefore the corresponding access openings in the structural walls generally have to be 75 mm larger than the wave-guide all round.
