		Service penetrations In order to maintain the integrity of the RF shield, special precautions must be incorporated when providing access into the scan room for electrical power, air, gas and liquids. Electrical filters are fitted in all electric circuits. The wave-guides used for air, gas and liquid medium connections prevent RF waves entering or escaping the scan room and are available in different shapes and sizes.
